Autumn and Winter at NYWP
We have fun activities for all the family across our site, including new for this season: Laser Tag. Why not try your hand at Archery or Axe Throwing in Adventure Wood? Or maybe you’re more inclined to take a jump off the Zip Tower and glide across our lake.
Come rain or shine, we have activities to suit all abilities. Not only do we have land and water activities available throughout the year, but we also have picturesque walks and our dog-friendly cafe to enjoy.
Our Puzzle Rooms and Bombardment (NYWP’s challenging Escape Room) are great indoor fun for groups and families alike.

Halloween
Enjoy Halloween at North Yorkshire Water Park
Halloween Pumpkin Carving
Pick a pumpkin and carve your own design, running throughout October Half Term week – 25th October to 31st October 2025
Two sessions per day, 10am and 2pm Max 15 people per session.
Price per pumpkin – £10 – Carving tools supplied, the activity is under cover
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Available to children 4 – 16
Pumpkin Walk
Our free-to-participate activity. Walk around our stunning lake and find as many Pumpkins as you can, count the pumpkins, give your answer to the Cafe and enter the prize draw for a NYWP family voucher.
NYWP North Yorkshire Axe Throwing Championship
Back by popular demand, can you become a Champion?
In association with Valhalla North, we are hosting the inaugural North Yorkshire Axe Throwing Championship.
This event is open to beginners and experienced participants. Book now for an early bird offer, which includes a t-shirt.

Christmas @NYWP
Workshop & Grotto Experience
Back this year, as it proved so popular with the little ones last year, is our Christmas Workshop and Grotto experience.
Spend an hour decorating gingerbread Christmas Trees, making a Christmas decoration and writing a letter to Santa, all with the help of one of Santa’s wonderful elves, while the parents enjoy a hot drink and seasonal treat.
Then go visit Santa and Mrs Claus in their Grotto to receive a present and to have some time chatting about what Christmas might bring this year.
Saturdays Only from 29th November to 20th December.
Two sessions per day, 11am and 1pm.
£22.50 per child.
Breakfast with Santa
Enjoy our delicious breakfast with Santa, back by popular demand. This experience includes a buffet breakfast and time with Santa, all in our cosy lakeside cafe setting.
All children will get quality time with Santa and a selection box while parents enjoy the food and relaxing setting.
Buffet breakfast including teas & coffees, selection box for the child & time with Santa (Vegetarian option available)
