Halloween at NYWP
Pumpkin Carving
Choose your pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, then head into our Halloween Hanger where tools and stencils will be provided so that you can create the most spooktastic pumpkin to take home with you.
We will be offering 2 Sessions a day
Running from 25th October through till the 31st October at 10am and 2pm
£10 per pumpkin
Available for anyone aged 4 and over.
All children must be supervised by an adult
Pumpkin Walk
Free fun for all the family
Back by popular demand, our 2.5k lake walk is dotted with large and small pumpkins for you to spot and count up along the walk. All you need to do on your return to the car park is visit the cafe where you can submit your count and enter our draw to win a NYWP family voucher.
Half Term – SPOOKTACKULAR COMPETITION!
To celebrate the return of our fang-tastic half-term activities, we’re giving you and your three favourite people the chance to win the ultimate Halloween Adventure for 4 this half-term!

Competition T&Cs
- Entries close at midnight on 23/10/25. One winner will be selected at random as part of the prize draw.
- The prize includes an overnight stay in our camping pods during October half-term (27th October – 2nd November 2025) and access for up to 4 people to all our activities in Adventure Wood. Subject to availability, age restrictions for land activities apply.
- The prize is redeemable from North Yorkshire Water Park, Long Causeway Rd
Wykeham, Scarborough, YO13 9QU and must be redeemed before 03/11/25, subject to availability.
- The chosen winner will be contacted directly by @northyorkshirewaterpark via direct message.
- Please note, we will not ask for any bank or payment details under any circumstance.
- No cash alternative to the prize will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
- The winners will be drawn and contacted on 24/10/2025. The draw is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. Entry is free. This competition is open to UK Mainland entries only, EXCEPT employees of North Yorkshire Water Park, Hatch and their immediate families.
- Winners have until midnight on 26/10/2025 to claim the prize from the promoter by return direct message. If winners fail to respond after three attempts at contact, a new winner will be drawn.
- The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
