North Yorkshire Water Park Makes A Splash During Official Launch Weekend!

This weekend, we’re delighted to be hosting a 4-day long official launch weekend, following the completion of our brand-new facilities.
This weekend you can book onto a range of activities, from wakeboarding to kayaking, the AquaPark to swimming, and many many more. Make the most of the weather and come down and be a part of the celebrations.
With activities planned throughout the long weekend, guests visiting the park will also be able to enjoy 20% off all food and drink from the brand-new Café @ North Yorkshire Water Park. So you can fuel up after trying all of the different activities!
Fancy seeing some thrill-seeking in action? This weekend only, you can also enjoy professional demonstrations of the newly installed wakeboarding line, thanks to wakeboarding professional and former TeamGB athlete, Rocco Burbidge. Book on to a session and see if you can create some of the tricks yourself.
The launch weekend will officially kick off on Thursday 24th June with an official opening event hosted by The Yorkshire Vet and friend of the Water Park, Julian Norton.
At the Water Park, there are plenty of activities to enjoy including fishing (trout, course & pike), kayaking (single and tandem), pedalos, paddle boarding, leisure walking, cycling and more, as well as one-to-one wake boarding sessions. Open water swimming has been hugely popular, as has stand up paddle boarding, where you can either bring their own boards or hire on site with qualified instructors available for all abilities.
Located just east of Wykeham on the A170, we launched to the public in 2017 dedicated to providing families, holidaymakers and water sports enthusiasts alike with a day out, or activity session, to remember. Throughout the summer, visitors can also book the onsite camping & caravanning facilities to enjoy an extended stay.
